Leadership Lafayette offers two distinctive programs: the Community Leadership Program and the Career Leadership Academy.

Since 1982 through the Community Leadership Program, Leadership Lafayette has prepared individuals to become active in volunteer service and community leadership. The new Career Leadership Academy, initiated in 2002, helps develop the leadership skills and capacities of employees for application in their businesses and careers.

Both Leadership Lafayette programs emphasize experiential learning in the class sessions and through individual and group projects.
