The mission of Leadership Lafayette is to prepare and nuture individuals from diverse segments of the Greater Lafayette area to serve as effective volunteers and facilitative leaders who will strengthen our community. Our vision is to serve as the primary catalyst for leadership development in the region. Leadership is a vital skill for every walk of life. And when it's done well, leads to a shared direction among a group and the potential to do great things. As a Leadership Lafayette participant, you will acquire skills to affect change within your personal, professional, and civic life. You also will become attune to the operations, resources, and needs that exist within our community. Since 1982, Leadership Lafayette has graduated 1,092 alumni from its Community Leadership program; 765 of them currently reside in the area serving both their places of employment and more than 75 non-profit organizations. Become a member of Leadership Lafayette's upcoming class - One of life's great experiences.A nonprofit organization, Leadership Lafayette is funded primarily by tuition, scholarship contributions, and corporate and individual gifts. Contributions to Leadership Lafayette help maintain participant tuition at a level substantially below the actual per-student cost ensuring that the program broadly represents our community and can extend scholarship assistance to those who otherwise may not be able to participate. |
