Community Leadership Program Application 2018-19

Applications may be submitted following the June 30 deadline and will be considered on a rolling basis as program capacity allows. Please contact Connect@LeadershipLafayette.org for further details.

Employer / Sponsor Statement of Commitment
Upon submission of your application, your Employer / Sponsor will be contacted by Leadership Lafayette to secure:

  • Appropriate release time from work to attend all program activities
  • And/Or
  • A full or partial tuition payment
Please provide us with your Employer / Sponsor's contact information.
Application Statement of Commitment
  • Applicants are expected to serve and strengthen the community upon completion of the program.
  • Although some employers may have an internal selection process, submitting an application does not guarantee a position in the Community Leadership Program.
  • The Selection Committee may be unable to place all eligible candidates, even if these applicants have demonstrated excellent credentials. These applicants are encouraged to reapply for future programs.
  • Assignments outside of class sessions may be required. If selected as a participant, applicants will be expected to attend all sessions and complete program assignments.
  • Applicants grant permission to the Selection Committee to discuss the information provided on applications with people who are knowledgeable about the candidate’s ability, potential, and demonstrated interest in the community and will hold the Selection Committee harmless concerning the selection process and admission decision.
  • Upon successful completion of the program and class project, applicants will be eligible to earn 5.5 Continuing Education Units from Purdue University.
  • Applicants shall certify that the information provided on applications is true and complete, and agree that falsified information or significant omissions may disqualify a candidate from further consideration by the Selection Committee. Such behavior may be considered justification for dismissal from the program if discovered after admittance.
Statement of Commitment

Tuition of $1,800 is due upon acceptance to the Community Leadership Program and must be received prior to the beginning of Class 48 on September 13, 2018. Payment plans may be negotiated upon request.

Scholarships

Tuition assistance is available through Need-Based Scholarships for candidates from small businesses and nonprofit organizations or individuals who are self-sponsoring tuition.
